Giratina watched the humans as they made their way through his world, the lake trio helping the two females while the man made his own way. It didn't take long for Arceus Priestess and the human child to reach the man, and Giratina snarled slightly as the man argued - then battled with the child, who stubbornly claimed that neither world was worthless. Impressive, but still... Foolish things. He should lock the man and child up here - kill them as was his right. He would have, where it not for the one of Arcues bloodline.  For all he hated Dialga and Palkia, he was not a fool when it came to those tied by blood to Arcues itself.

He would deal with the man and child after this battle. The poor pokemon, so made to fight for humans. Despicable and disgusting, though there was something different about the child's. They reacted better to the commands and soon the male was defeated. Even the Priestess looked stunned.  But then the man started to talk again as Giratina made himself known, ectoplasm flowing and forming into his serpentine body.

"... Don't think that you can defeat or capture that Pokémon. This bizarre world is none other than that Pokémon itself! Capturing it or defeating it will make this world disappear! Rather than repairing the world, you're going to destroy it for me! Do it. You inherit my legacy."

Giratina gave a menacing grin. How wrong the man was. Such arrogance in such a small, worthless thing. As for the child... Glowing red eyes turned to her, a nasty grin on his face. Just try it, he seemed to say. Just try it.

[Hikari was terrified. The fear of what Akagi was trying to do had been mounting in her for some time - just a vague suspicion in the beginning, but then it grew into a force equal in power to her determination. It hadn't really hit her until she reached the peak of Mt. Coronet. The only thing keeping her from succumbing to her terror now was the fact that if she did - if she failed - every single person and Pokemon in the world would die. If Akagi succeeded, the world would lose all emotion. That would truly be a "worthless" world.

Nothing exists without its opposite. Hikari figured that out a long time ago. Day and night, life and death... Even this world and her own. Both have to be for either to exist.

She shivered when she met the dragon's gaze. A god. She would be up against a god. Her team was already tired from the battles they went through up until this point. She had to wonder if she would lose any of her precious friends in this... The stakes were too high. If she lost now everything she had already accomplished would be for naught.]

I inherit nothing from you. [Hikari could hear her voice wavering. It was impossible to remain steady, not in the face of the master of the Distortion World. Surely nothing else could match this fear? Hikari didn't want to know. Just one more battle...]
